Proceeds from SVSU Athletics online auction will initially support scholarships for spring sport seniors who had their seasons canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. The NCAA has extended the eligibility for seniors whose seasons were truncated and SVSU Athletics would like to provide scholarship support for the returning seniors.

Any additional proceeds from this online auction will benefit degree completion scholarships for student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility prior to completion of their undergraduate degree requirements. The Cardinal Cabaret Auction, which aims to provide some level of scholarship to student-athletes in their pursuit of a degree, is held annually in April, but was cancelled due to the coronavirus.
